I haven't made the measurements, but I'm sure the standard wheels have an offset
of over 3 inches, maybe more like 4 inches. So reversing one would move the rim
out 6 to 8 inches. To change the offset by that much in front would, I'm sure,
be a bad thing. I replaced the front wheels with ones from a Chevy 2500 pickup
(not duallie) and that moved the rims out by about 2 inches, which seems about
right. I was concerned about the increase in scrub radius, but it hasn't seemed
to be a problem. The front now has about the same track as the rear.
Gary
from Rob:
I've never seen a GMC with the front wheels mounted like that.
Go out to your GMC, jack it up, remove the front wheel, turn it around and
put it back on the hub.
When you're done let us know what you discover.
Regards,
Rob M.

Gary,
What wheels did you use on the front end? I did a search for Caseyg and
gcasey on the photo site in case you had already posted pictures.
