I think we can safely call the first meeting a success!

Glyn Trimble and Fred Pitezel came down from Tulsa.

The Doonkeen family, Servellon & Lola, and their sons
Bob and Ray (representing THREE GMCs from the OKC area),
group instigator sparkplug Charles Wood plus my wife
Judy and I had a great getogether.

I'm sure this will not be the last of these! It was
great to meet all the others for the first time.

Good to hear the lunch report. We haven't heard from
the Doonkeens in quite a while. We have missed
them at the Classics rallies. Please keep me informed
directly of future lunches. Janice and I might be able drive
up if we get enough notice.

Hi, Charles!

Nice to hear from you. Charles Wood is the originator
of the "OKC Lunch Bunch" and he said yesterday that he
picked the FOURTH Saturday as a recurring meeting day
since it did not conflict with other meetings that he
has (probably not all GMC).

I will defer to Charles as "Chief Instigator" to be the
notifiers of the meetings. I do expect that the next
meeting will follow the third Saturday guideline.

My estimate is that a trip up from Duncanville
(by car, not coach) would take about 3.5 hours.

You would certainly be welcome!
