Someone posted her a while back about a shop in Mesa AZ that has experience with our front ends. I got a call on the Black list from someone who needs bearing and brake work and would like a recommendation.

Chris,

Steve Ferguson posted this a while back:

"Marcel,
SpecTrac alignment on Baseline Rd in Mesa. The owner is GMC savvy
and was part of the design team that developed the steering system in
the GMCs."

Chr$, I can vouch for them also. Dealt with them for many years when I was in business. I am also using them now to try and correct the shake problem I am having in my 5500 Kodiak. Tell them to ask for Jerry(a no B--- S---- guy)... Jim

http://www.bdub.net/GMCServiceComments.pdf has SpecTrac listed in Gilbert,
but I guess that's more or less the same as Mesa?

The shop is on the line. Funny though, if you try to find it in Mesa on MS
S & T, you can't. Gilbert.
I have to add here that I was indeed the one who put that place on the net
for GMCers. They have really let me down. The new owner of my coach nearly
killed the two front tires driving it back to KY. Toe was wrong. The same
shop has been meaning to get back to me with parts for my SOB for well over
3 months now. Calls to them get different reactions ranging from we need
more information to locate the parts to we'll get back to you. I deal
directly with Jerry Hartman, the owner. He pisses and moans a lot about how
hard it is to find mechanics willing to learn the trade. I think it's also
hard to find front office guys or owners who give a damn. Looks like both
ends of the business are in trouble.

I could not in good faith recommend this shop Billy.
