Wally and I went awol this weekend. Cool We loaded up the GMC about lunch Fri and went to a private campground in down town Lake Lure, N.C. When we got there we picked a spot and hooked up and proceded to relax. First thing we did was eat. After that it is kind of blurred till Sunday.. We had the RV park part to ourselves. It is beautiful. The 100 or so of the others dry camped on the hill. The Crestmonts full size bath and the golf cart was a big hit with the girls. Twisted Evil The new carbon metallic rear brakes did good. Smile They felt good, Smile worked good Smile and no signs of fading even pulling the trailer. Smile We made it back home today with no issues and did it all on one one tank of gas. That was a first.. Shocked

Chuck -- thanks for all the help last week. Hope you got my voicemail Monday as we left Go Forth Tire. Definitely a good steer. Appreciate the help when I called the previous Wed as well. Glad to hear you had a good trip. Jeremy

You are welcome.. I did get your message Monday, I was in the emergency room with Mother. Her ankle had swelled up and she wasn`t able to shop. 82 and I can`t keep up. She is some better but still hurting. I wish you could have swung by and we would have straightened your bogies, but I was really tied up.. I can email instructions and tools needed or just stop by next trip or Bean Station??? Call anytime..

I appreciate it. We are looking to be done for the winter unless we make a run to the beach early in Nov. Was going to FL for Turkey day, but the in-laws down there hit a roadblock so looks like we'll be staying home. Possibly Bean Station, although I'm hoping to have all the pieces ready to get some help fitting my Birch door at Bean. We'll see.

Can't thank you enough for the help. Never did get your email though so I wanted to be sure you knew we appreciated it. Wouldn't mind seeing the directions. You never know when I'll start feeling ambitious! Hope all is well with your mother. We've got both our mothers and my dad in for this upcoming weekend for the baby's first birthday. Been a lot of yardwork this weekend to get ready. I'd much rather be in the dirt under the GMC...

Chuck,

Sorry to hear your Mother is having a spot of bother with her ankle,
hopefully it will pass quickly.

As far as you not being able to keep up with an 82 year old, I was going to
make a smart ass comment but decided to pass.

I'm sure you'll figure it out! ;-)
