I may have found a way to get a GMC logo over the Chevy logo on the steering
wheels from the S-10's, Blazers and all the other Chevy steering wheels I
can get my hands on.
I can find lots of Chevy wheels, but very few serviceable GMC wheels, even
without logos.
Cheers,

Actually roofing nails.....but the horn keeps going off!
Pat has one of those computer controlled sewing machines that can embroider
just about anything. The goal is to come up with a black background with
GMC embroidered on the background and then glued (?) over those nasty Chevy
logos.
It is a work in progress and my coach gets the first one as my wheel is
cracked and split.
I can get a good supply of steering wheels but if there is no interest I
don't see filling up my garage with steering wheels.
This is kind of like the dash lights kit. I was told I could not do it.
That project worked well with maybe four returns (defective inverter) since
inception.
Cheers,
Len and Pat

You do know that GMC stands for Good Man's Chevy don't ya? I have also heard of it as Gay Man's Chevy, but I won't go there least I get totally drummed out of the group. Got to keep it light here, I tried but could not resist posting that.

Can't be... Chevy never produced a TZE style motorhome.
When going through the pick-a-part, I grab any good GMC horn buttons. I then look for good wheels to go with them.
Seems most of the wheels are a little loose at the top... even the Chevy ones.

Being a newbie to GMC's I haven't even looked at steering wheels yet,but if
a doomed
GMC logo emblem is all you need I manufacture small quantities to order. I
did all of ROYALE
Coach (PREVOST) decals and emblems for their coaches till they closed in

All the one I have are tight.....except one...the one with a GMC logo!
Every wheel I have found so far are Chev, GMC S-15 and bladders are rare.
I did fine one GMC Blazer(ette), nice brown wheel...but someone else snapped
a stud off on the removal holes..............Oh well...........

I would be interested as I had to settle for a Chevy wheel/horn button to get the "lower half support and upper half open" style I wanted.

Randall,
This style wheel?
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=459&cat=3055
I think I have a spare "GMC" horn button for this style. It is black (stock) with faded red letters. The button itself is in pretty good shape, I had planned on re-painting the letters -- after I decide if I want to dye the leather of the wheel or not. (like the one in the above pictures.)
When at the men's mall, mix and match horn buttons and wheels. (Much easier to do at the self service "pick-a-part" type junk yards.)
While I like the look of the four spoke wheel, I installed one of this style before our last trip and really LIKE to be able to see my gauges. It also allows the use of the turn signal by the right hand and provides a place to fasten a wireless remote(s) for cruise and radio controls. (Someday I'll install those.)

If you are willing to give it up I would love to have the "GMC brand" horn button and my wheel is currently black. Let me know price and shipping at your convenience. Won't be needing it any time soon as I am going in tomorrow for a new knee. email: rwbmitiopt at comcast dot net
Thanks

I bought a GMC horn button at a rally, but found it was shorted (horn blows all the time). In the process of trying to figure out what was wrong I found I could peel off the outer cover, so I just switched covers with the Chevy cover I had - problem fixed.
So if you find any buttons that are "broken" but have a good cover - git 'um.
