I left off last week with a very hard brake pedal. taking my full
force to initiate the brakes. so this weekend I began to investigate
the Brake Booster. I could hear a vac leak from behind the master
cylinder, where the push rod comes from the booster to the MC. So i
need a new Booster...
a few questions.
The Leigh Harrison Sensitized brake booster, and GMC vendor
Sensitized brake booster the same? If not one better than the other?
or can i just pick up one from a local parts store?
when removing the booster (arch has a great writeup) do i need to
remove the MC and re-bleed the brakes , or can i leave the lines
attached and "prop up" the MC? (whould bve nice to leave!!)
any other hints would be great! I should be able to try tis next weekend...
