I'm replacing my steering box and noticed some play in the steering shaft in the steering column. I was able to remove the lower bearing assy (7805700). Although there is some slack in it and it looks like it could take another ball, it doesn't look like the overall design would load it enough to eliminate slack in the shaft. I couldn't find anything about it searching back topics. Is this something that should be replaced and does replacing it eliminate play?
