This is a re-post for Jim Bounds. It was buried in the "Synthetic fuel" thread.

Guys, this is what we are all here for. I have a guy with a major motor issue in Canyon Texas, just south of Amarillo. Anyone out there close by?

Give me a call & I'll hook you up with him. Looks like we will need a shop nearby to R&R the motor.

If you are near, nothing more than a beer will help! Let me know if you can help. Call me on my cell number 321-299-5707

I've contacted the only GMCer up in that area that I know of. Hopefully
he'll come through for us even though he is a new owner.

Jim Melberg's Streets version of the GMC assist list shows Jim M is practically right there.

No, I haven't heard from Travis in so long that I don't imagine he's active
any more. Struck me as sorta flaky anyhow.

Contacted a new GMCMI member in Amarillo. Haven't heard back from him yet
though.

Billy

Wow I hope you do hear from him, he is right there.

If not, man that is a big hole, the next closet is 250 miles for the guys in Ok City or Emory if he were home.

I'd be glad to go, it's only 360 miles. But geeze what do I know, I don't even have a coach yet, much less know how to turn it on.

Hey Don
Knowing how to turn it on is a great start.

You will soon learn the true meaning of owning a GMC MotorHome Twisted Evil

We all have skills of one sort or another when it comes to repairs or even helping an owner that has a coach down. And there are different ways we can help them. Don't count yourself out as it is the combination of everyone that makes it all work.
