Not sure how to get this onto the parts interchange:
Goodyear 15581 "Gatorback" for the alternator. It is 57.5" x 7/16" (~11mm).
Found it via Summit's website which allows you to find belts by length and width.

What you have there is a part number for a 58.1 inch belt rather than the 57.5 inch belt. (See the last 3 digits of the part number). I don't see it as a problem but that is the reason for your part number difference. I assume they did not have or stock a 57.5" belt and substituted at 58.1" belt instead.
You could also have gone with a 15570 which is 57.0 inches or 1/2 shorter.

Ken,
The additional length would help those of us with dual pulleys on the
alternator as it would allow slightly more contact area between the belt and
the power steering pulley.

I think the 15570 = 57.0 only applies to Dayco and Napa belts.
Looking online I see for the Goodyear "Gatorback" belts:
15561 is 55.5"
15565 is 56"
15572 is 56.5"
15574 is 57.0"
15581 is 57.5"
So I'm not seeing the same correlation in part numbers to length here.
Since the other parts interchange numbers were given as 57.5", that's what
I was looking for. However, given our mangled brackets, I'll probably get
a Goodyear 15574 or 15572 next time.

You are quoting the inner rather than the outer dimension. You will notice that each one you quoted is about 1/2 or .5 inches smaller than their part number.
Side Note: The first two digits of 15 specify that this is a 7/16" wide belt.
