I have added a new section to the web page (while all those guys are out
there having fun with out us;>)

FIXIN THE SKIN YOU ARE IN
http://gmcmotorhome.info/skin.html

This section is going to be about the materials, used in the GMC and how to
repair/ work with, them.

as always this web page is a collection of work done by "you" the owners and
friends of the GMC.

I do my best to try and get to the truth of these things, but, I am willing
to take input on new topics and answers.

Gene

TIG is an open arc flame, so for sure there would be potential of a fire

Don't forget that the ceiling, like the walls, has been sprayed with VERY
flammable urethane foam. Welding it without totally protecting that foam is
an almost sure way to destroy the coach. Elem Fayard (a deceased
Dixielander famous for Bob Drewes' and Tom Whitton's amazing coaches, as
well as many of the fiberglass accessories' designs) burned his 23' to the
ground in just a few minutes when attempting that.
