Have noticed that our Edgemonte, has 1977 Electro Level, different Dash Tell Tale lights, Dash A/C Recirc and other changes that must be looked up in the 1977 Manual. Until I bought the GMC Manuals on CD, I had not noticed this. Perhaps the Edgemonte was a test bed for these changes? Do other 76 Models have these features?

Most 1976 coaches have Electro Level. (The change was made around Dec 1975... IIRC) They came with the switches on the dash where the 73-75 coaches have the Power Level valves. With the new dash in 1977, the switches where moved to the side panel. I am not sure about the other changes.

Yours is a late 76 but ElectroLevel I was introduced at TZExx6V100878 so
naturally you would have it.
Improved AC ducting was introduced at TZExx6V100062
