Also note that this is experimental. No one said anything to me about putting an electric motorhome into production, althought the thought is interesting.

Along those same lines, Did anyone say anything about keeping it as a motorhome?

I notice they are using "in transit" quick recharging using an overhead blade. I'm assuming they top it off while waiting at various stops along the way. That may work fine for that kind of application.

Maybe they are just using it as a test bed?
rip out the interior and fill it with batteries.
The drive train is well contained and easy to work on, as compared to a class C, The air suspension, will automatically adjust for the battery weight.
And did you say they spent $500 on it?!?
Cheaper than a real bus.
