Recap''' pulled the Caddy out of the garage and noticed it was running poorly, like a miss. Vac gage was jiggling. Compression check showed low. Removed valve cover and the pin on the full roller rocker had moved almost all the way out( the pin on the roller over the valve, not the pivot). Pin was cocked sideways and not supported on one side. Probe sent me a new rocker but comp. was only 30 psi. Remove head. Man thats fun. Used a MC tie down. its adjustable and goes around neck/shoulder. Valve bent(ex. of course). New valve and fired it up late last nite. We were planning on leaving tomorrow, heading east for MC riding and then Duquion. Have ben getting up at 3:45 every morning for 3wks trying to get ready. More testing tonite and tomorrow. Plan on leaving sunday. Look for the 78 royale with the big bright yellw Wing, and I'll show you the Hubbler conversion. Galvanized frame, Caddy install at the rally. No comp. on the road. Wish us "luck".,,,,Paul and Marilyn

3:45 AM for three weeks! This is what we live for, isn't it? What wonderful machines. Sounds like you are getting her in good shape. So, best of luck on the trip.
