Question from a customer: " We are looking for a furncae, perferably Suburban, for our GMC. Prefer interior hook up and service with only the air intake and exhaust to drill through our left hand wall." Minnesota

Answer: I advise buying a new furnace as you want reliability. We had our old furnace in the 74 GMC not light, or would not stay lite in cold Colorado. Not good! Alternatively, if you buy a used furnace, have it checked out by a good RV service facility. They can "bench test" it. Have them replace anything that might affect reliability. By the time you do this, with labor rates near $100/hour, you probably could have bought new with a warranty and installation.........Thx, Michael at GEMRECS

Another answer: If there's a leak in the firebox you'll get Co and Co2 in
the coach and you'll wind up cold AND DEAD!

Yes Dan(Hi Teri), We are coming to Du Quion, God willing. I am close to finishing the GMC work, but should that fail, we will come in the pick-up with the trailer and some parts.

Note that Bob Stone of Carbondale, Il. has bought most of my loost parts inventory and he will also be a vendor at the "convention" (rally).......Thx, Michael at GEMRECS
P.S. Bringing two cars for the Pine Derby also.

Ok, I need a passenger side wheel well if you still have one that Bob did not get.
Thanks,
Dan
Teri says hi back. Come taste her chili. She is all excited about this cookoff thing.

Dan,

Don't forget that Frank Jenkins is now making beautiful fiberglass ones.
He's supposed to be at Du Quoin -- let him know if he should bring one
"just for you".

Well, They are all under shrink wrap and palletized-sitting in my shop, not yet shipped. However, only one or two are whole and not needing repair. Without undoing what they have done, I don't know what is where and I don't want to do that since I am still working on my coach. They can be repaired by plastic welding, you know-unless you don't have one.....Thx, Michael

Hi, Email me off line at gemrecs@yahoo.com. Do you mean the plastic overhead part above the driver and passenger seats? If so, price is $75 including labor to remove and delivery to Du Quion......Thx, Michael at GEMRECS
