They are Quad 7041242 (mfg. 1971, Fed. spec, Buick, auto)
Quad 7045504 (mfg 1975, CA spec, Chevy, auto)

Exactly!
I installed a little air filter / water separator on the air tank where the
pump feeds in. It captures a fair bit of water; however, I still get some
when I open the drain valve in the tank.

I'll chime in with you. Just starting and running the engine and generator while in storage w/o driving around for about a half hour or running the generator under load for the same about of time you are wasting gas and causing moisture problems …

Manny recommends Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF.
You can get it at Advance Auto.
It ain't cheap!
It is fully compatible with non-synthetics but it will take you a couple of
changes to get rid of all the "old stuff"
