I have had a GMC coach since 1997. Not the longest here by any means. It
had less than 80,000 miles on the clock. Now over 135,000. So it gets used.
I have been towed once. Other than that, I have driven it home every time
it left. Crossed Canada in 2012, lost a mechanical fuel pump. Retraced
Route 66 in 2015. NO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS. If you prepare them correctly,
and do your due diligence maintenence, they are very reliable. Your
experience will vary.

Adam,

I bought my coach in 2014, replaced the tyres, drove 2500mls from San
Diego to Virginia, let Ken Frey look over it and fix what needs fixing,
and haven't had any issue with it, that wasn't self inflicted (note: no,
the chassis battery does not get charged when your house charger is
connected to 110V, and yes, the cigarette lighter on the dash does wear
the chassis battery down after three days of not moving the coach).

I have had two nice vacations with it, one around 1600mls in two weeks
with my wife, and one 3500mls with my whole family. No issues, what so ever.
