Hey Jon,

I've sold a ton of Honda and Yamaha gensets and I only ever had one person complain about fuel consumption. I don't know about the new 2200 because I am out of the business, but the 2000 would run close to 4 hours at rated load. I expect the 2200 would run your A/C for at least 5-6 hours on a tank, maybe more (depending on outside temp). That puts your fuel use around 0.15g to 0.2g an hour which is far better than I'm getting (EV4010 ~ 0.66g/hr), not to mention a lot quieter.
