You are right. I was thinking about removing the lower control arms or torsion bar. It is Not necessary on knuckle. It has been a long time since I did one. Front coach weight does need to be supported on the lower control arm. Do not let the lower control arm just hang down. I usually jack it up in the center and then put some jack stands or 4x4 cribbing under each control arm. Then drop the coach on them. I leave the lowered jack in the middle with a light amount of weight on it just for some extra safety.
