I know this might sound crazy, but yesterday on the local news they had a segment that delt with keeping unwanted animals out of attics and crawl spaces.

1. Apple cider vinegar.
2. Smelly shoes, clothes, etc with human scents.
3. Ammonia.
4. Predator animal urine (bobcat, mountain lion, etc). Good luck extracting that, maybe wear gloves!!
