I recently purchased the AIRTEX/WELLS 1S3020 (SW326) Turn Signal Switch from Rockauto. Glad to know it has the cornering light option if it's ever needed. The one minor annoyance was that the connector plug didn't mate to the socket on my 76 Royale steering column. I had to extract all the pins and insert them into the old plug. An adapter is available but I don't want extra hardware that doubles the number of connections.

Yes that is a problem and it appears to be random on which coaches got which connector type installed. Actually the switch fits most GMCs without moving the pins. On the others moving the pins is the easiest solution. I always check the plug mating BEFORE pulling the wire down through the steering column. It is as lot easier to change them not mounted and in your hand rather than doing it standing on your head under the dash.
