Ray,

I have the same tube in Double Trouble and when I discussed it with Manny he noted that the standard dipstick tube is part of the
vent system of the transmission and if the remote fill tube does not vent it can cause problems. He did not specify what the
problems were.

I recently upgraded to the remote transmission dipstick tube that Applied GMC sells. It has a great seal where the tube goes into
the final drive PLUS the convenience of being able to check the transmission fluid from under the hood vs. opening the engine hatch
is awesome.

An upgrade well worth the money!
