That's really just the fascia of the instrument panel -- behind the
instruments. Does nothing for the rest of the 40 yo dried out plastic.

I know it looks overwhelming, but I really don't think my approach is as
difficult as fitting one of the fiberglass replacement dashes:

With a little patience, everything sort of falls in place during an ad hoc
design/build. And the result is almost exactly what I wanted.
