John,

We spent 3 years ('71-'74) in Sacramento (across from Cresta Park in Arden
Park area). Other than having to comply with reasonable requirements when
I installed central air conditioning, I had no contact with regulators. We
considered that one of the most pleasant of the 18 places we lived during
my 23 years in USAF. With things as you describe them now, I couldn't
possibly live there. While our neighborhood is entirely different than
yours, with 1-1/2+ acre lots, the 50'x16'x12' RV shelter and the 40'
Sea-Land container storage building are now central to my life.

There's a vacant house next door at the moment if you want to move. :-)
