That is a very good walk though.
I like its specifics.
There are now available products that will remove either silicone or polyurethane materials. They are not skin friendly.

I wonder if he explained the difference between the caulking guns on the last page.
As it happens I know (only after decades of dealing with 4000, 4200 and 5200), so I will try to make a clear answer.
Of the two, the one is stepless and can back off with the release of the grip.
The one under the circle/strike is the ratchet type. It will click along one step at a time. When the grip is released, it may not let the pressure off the tube.
The cheap ones are often available for 2~3$. The good ones are seldom less than 10$.
