The closest point between the wheel and the caliper, when using Manny's
kit, is theinside corner of the rim of the wheel, right at the tire bead.
It's close enough that some aftermarket calipers may need some touching up
with a grinder, according to Karen's instructions. I did not have a
problem.

The shape of the dome won't be a problem with the spacers or calipers of
the kit, near as I can tell.
