Subject: Re: [GMCnet] mosquitoes ??

We too suffer the mosquito issue back here in KC. My area I live is tucked back in the woods and it is pretty bad towards the evening. I bought one
of these mosquito traps you plug in and apparently has a light and a vapor it omits to attract the little buggers and then a vacuum that pulls them
into the trap. Amazon gave it high ratings. I have not set it up yet. Think I'll wait till next season since it's starting to get cold back here.

The one thing we recently really been hit with are Oak Mites. Those things are nasty little things. Microscopic and because of that can go air born
and apparently penetrate your clothes to bite you. Then the bite mark is larger than a mosquito and last longer. When we've gotten the bits, which
can amount to 15 or more on your body, it gets pretty itchy. We've all discovered a product you can get at Walmart that is called Chiggerets, or
something of that sort. It's an ointment you rub straight onto the bite and it will take away the itch and seem to make the bite mark go away
quicker.

Anyhow, didn't know if anyone has experience those little buggers.
