Ive noticed that too. Obviously we've killed all the slow ones and selected the fast skittish ones.

You can't beat generic mosquito coils, they work quite well, last for 6
hours and cost about 30 cents each.
Sent from North Florida where we have mosquitoes that are almost as fast as
flies. 20 or more years ago
the mosquitoes were large and slow, not any more!

This has been a mild mosquito year. However the last two years i gave
found a few things to make camping around mosquitos a little more tolerable.
1st is some expensive mosquito control spray i pick up from clarke mosquito
control company:

Lastly, the thermocell stuff actually works.
