Jerry Work fabricated a bike carrier that fit around the spare tire. It
carried the folding bicycles that he had at the time many thousands of
miles, and they did not bounce or shake. I followed him many miles and had
a great view of that carrier. It now resides on another GMC owners spare
tire, I have followed that one too. It was a simple band that installed by
deflating the tire, slipping the band around the tire, positioning it where
one preferred, then inflating the tire again. It fit like O.J.s glove. I
don't have any pictures, but, Jerry might have posted some to the GMC Photo
site.
