This will give you an idea what's behind the fiberglass of the rear cap.
You must go above that rear tub rail--there is a channel on the body that
fits around it for attachment.

In the USA, at least, they sell bike racks that strap to a rear-mounted
tire. I have one and have carried two bikes on it without issue. This
picture, from a rally in 2005, shows it (sort-of).
