G'day,

Shane sent me the photos and it IS the "flapper" setup and as you can see the weld that holds the vertical piece to the horizontal piece has failed.

It seems to me that if that part was made from a single piece "C" channel with an ID wide enough for the flapper pivot it would make it much stronger; having noted that the failure mode may transfer to another point.

As you observed,IT IS NOT THE QUADRA BAG that failed.
We know that on that wobble plate, it cannot handle the twisting of the
boggie arms as it does put tremendous stress on that hinged plate.The weld
sheared.
We recalled all of them and made a deal on the Quadra Bag System.
Others are still selling them by beefing it up or not.
