Well I'm back with my original request. I have two of these that are not repairable due to internal rust and melted windings.

I had two generous GMCers send me replacement motors, but they did not work. One was the wrong style motor and could not be mounted. The other one came out of a Royale and rotates backward. It is not easily reversable with out major surgery and I would probably destroy the motor. (Died in surgery)

So I am back looking for anyone that might have a motor out of a used OEM Hammond roof vent. I had a pair of them that I gave away a few years back. Now I wish I would have kept one of them.

I also ordered a new one off of the Internet only to find out it was 1" too tall and hit the top cover.

If anyone has a removed / used one I sure could use it.

Does anyone have a removed OEM roof vent they want to part with? I need the motor only. I have three here that I have taken apart trying to get enough parts to make one good one. All three have the same problem. Water got into them and rusted the inside badly. Then they over heated and melted the winding insulation. I had one of these "fixed" and lubed the bearings. I installed it and it ran for about 15 seconds before going up in smoke.

These ought to be available from people installing MAXX vent or Fantastic vent upgrades if they have not thrown them away already.

Thanks
