Eric,

I am assuming you checked your 10A fuse in your glove compartment for the guages. I very recently had the same problem which turned out to be that fuse blowing (twice!). It turned out to be the ignition switch. I sprayed inside the switch with electrical contact cleaner, let it dry then sprayed inside with silicone lubricant and let it stand overnight. No more fuse blowing. It could be a common ground. The fuel transfer solenoid is also on that circuit.
