Lots of folks wondering:. Irma came calling Sunday night thru Monday. For
us, not bad. Lots of small stuff down from the trees but nothing big.
Power's been off since ??? Sunday night. After the winds calmed down
Monday, I moved them GMC near the house so we could use the (which I
repaired last week) to fix supper.

Power's still off today and with 3 trees on power lines within a block of
us, plus no telling how many more elsewhere in town, no telling when we'll
get it again. Especially with no one working near here -- probably in FL.
So, in addition to the refrigerator, TV, & water heater in the GMC, the
TroyBilt is powering the house refrigerator and freezer, plus recharging
the golf cart. Close to 20 hours now without missing a beat.

The golf cart got a workout today, hauling a 24 cf trailer full of front
yard debris to the back of our 3.5+ acres at least 20 times. Charlie
will be back Thursday to finish the front 1/2 acre & start on the back 2.
Thank goodness for Charlie!!!

With the power off and the cold boxes full, no way I can leave with the
TroyBilt so it's very unlikely I'll make Elkhart.😣

By the way, no Floridian took me up on my offer to lay over here. Sure
would like to hear how they're all doing.

Ken H.
