My sentiments exactly, power timing a 26 ft motorhome? What the "F" for? A few extra HP / a bit more torque? So you can out
accelerate who? Why?

It's as dumb as drag racing them! If you want a hot rod build a hot rod!

As we say Downunder; "bloody stupid, Mate, bloody F'n stupid!"

The Maintenance Manuals provide a procedure that will time the engine so that it performs well and DOESN'T S#!T itself!

There were some cockamamie posts on how to set your timing for "max" a while back. One involved WOT brake torque in drive. I warned
about this and how there is much more fine skill and art involved, including a variety of driving and weather conditions to get the
thing set right. Probably set for max RPM which would be grossly over advanced.
