Gas here is up to 2.80 from 2.19. I understand the further South you go, the worse it gets. I'll note, as late as 1985 when their head of Marketing spoke to us, ALL delta employees were hired from within. He said he moved up from Ramp Rat, the options being Flight Engineer, Reservations Clerk, apprentice mechanic, or Flight Attendant. Everyone from the CEO on down. They started coming apart when they went outside the Company for executives and haven't recovered.
But I don't see a month wait for a part, particularly on a new coach. Walk out to the yard, yank that part off a new coach, and send it.
