With some of the recent comments suggesting that the GMCNet is full of Doom and Gloom, I felt the need to comment.

*** This is mainly addressed to our visitors and newbies.

DO NOT look at the negative experiences as Doom and Gloom. Look at them as a lesson to be learned in the TZE school of preventative maintenance.

I personally frequent here with the main purpose of reading about the problems others have experienced. It helps me better understand where I might experience a problem, and more importantly, how I might minimize or eliminate that problem from occurring on my own coach.

Those who feel there is too much Doom and Gloom are missing the most valuable point of this group. That is to share both good and bad with others with the intention of helping rather than discouraging them. Help is a quality that the GMCNet excels at doing.

The objective of travelling with an RV is to have a trouble free and enjoyable trip. You likely won't have as much success if you blissfully run down the road unaware of your RVs weak points. Overly obsessing about potential problems can also temper your vacation travels, so finding a happy balance between the two is generally best.

We can't prevent all problems from occurring, but being aware and informed helps us to minimize the effects of those problems and quickly get back to enjoying our travels.
