Sorry to hear about your loss. I am on my way back in my GMC 1977 Eleganza from Wyoming, after breaking down there late last month on my "intended" 3000 mile round trip from Seattle to Albuquerque (the distributor went out). Having been on the side of the road a few times myself, I really feel for you and am very glad your wife only had minor injuries. I live in Bellevue if you ever need help.

I do know that the forum does have a lot of doom and gloom, but many times newbies like me learn from the sage advice. I'm hoping the remaining 1100 miles home will be "uneventful" (knock wood!!).
