Even my 2006 Chevy HHR comes with essentially a 7500 mile interval. The engine air filter is set for 50K. Newer passenger cars haven't been on the 3000 mile/3 month schedule for more than a decade. My wife's 2012 Honda Odyssey is at 10000 miles using 0W20 oil. And it comes out looking pretty clean when I do it. It's a whole different world. I can run my GMC for a couple hours and that oil will look dirtier than my wife's OW20 at 7000 miles.

Thanks,
