The faucet in my 76 Eleganza doesn't hold water right at the bottom it.

Any other solution that might be locally readily available, other than
getting http://www.appliedgmc.com/prod.itml/icOid/1258 ? I'll be in SFO
in a little over a week, but would prefer to have solution before, so I
would be able to take a shower and/or use the toilet without spraying
water in parallel below the kitchen sink.

Any and all help and tips are greatly appreciated.
