Andrew,

Here's a repair I did on the black tank in Double Trouble back in 2009.

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g6238-black-tank-repair.html

The doublers are held in place by the straps but there is no leakage at all eight years later.

In your case I would put a screw in as Matt suggested and then cover it with a patch glued on with 3M-5200 and if it works you're
done like a dinner.

If not then follow Jim's suggestion.

As far as the "whurring" sound goes, I would not venture a guess without actually riding in your GMC and listening to it.

As far as the belts go if they are not new I would replace them all see here:

For the oil filter see:

Subject: [GMCnet] Couple more newbie questions

Hey everyone,

I just noticed my grey water tank has what I estimate to be a pin sized hole in it. Last night it was dripping at a rate of one drop
per 3 seconds, this morning it's not dripping but I still see a water drop around the hole. What's the best way to remedy this? I'm
assuming there is some sort of patch I can use, but I'm curious what the best course of action would be.

Another issue when I drove it home I noticed a "whurring" sound when I had throttle in and above 55 MPH. It doesn't do it below 55,
and even at speeds 55 and above if I let off the accelerator it goes away. It's not a super concerning noise necessarily, and I
drove it over 20 hours with no problems.

Just wondering if it's something I can fix, a sign of something to come, or maybe it's normal I don't know.

The AC also causes the belts to squeal when I turn it on at a stop, then goes away once I get some load on the engine. It's not a
huge deal just kind of startles everyone near the coach when I'm at a gas station or parking lot. What's the procedure to properly
tighten the belts? I'm assuming that's the issue since the belts are not even a year old.

Lastly, what size and type of oil filter do you all recommend?

Thanks in advance, hope you are all having a great weekend!
