The kit was not designed for and will not fit the 4K Onan. The 4K is very compact and there just isn't enough space to mount the parts on the 4K. I'm sure it's possible to convert a 4K, but you'd have to mount some parts off the generator. George Beckman did an Onan propane conversion and mounted the fuel management system, as I recall, at the back of the battery area. Something like that could work.
