Money Pit came with a two battery tray for the engine start function and two Group 24M batteries in parallel with one that had killed the other. They were "held in" by rubber bungee straps (yuck!). I bought a single replacement a week or two ago and had not found a suitable method for anchoring it in place. I have sprayed the existing "shelf" liberally with "Naval Jelly" to neutralize the rust and was quite relieved when the latest Bass Pro sale catalog arrived with a special on Heavy Duty tray/hold-down combination. These are available for Group 24, 27, and 31 batteries. Price for the Group 24 was just $11.99 and will be just the ticket and at a good price. 27 and 31 models may be a bit higher. Sale is good through 29 May
