As much as I dislike the noise, it does start and run reliably and I don't have to worry about it or tinker with it like the Onan. That's worth it right there.
I'm just saying if I were doing it again if still get rid of the Onan, but spend a little more on something a little more modern and quiet.
I was really just disappointed that everything I read here said it was nice and quiet. I think everyone spent the money and just wanted to make themselves feel better by validating that. Of all the words I'd use to describe it (convenient,reliable, Honda) quiet or pleasant are not on the list.
