I removed the brass pipe and filter screen and replaced it with an inline power steering filter made by Magnefine. The filter also contains a magnet. Here's the O'Reilly MasterPro version. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/MPPB/991FLT2/N2242.oap?pt=N2242&ppt=C0023 They also make inline transmission filters. JWID
