Bryan,
Hope U intend to insulate the roof areas after the leaks are found. It will feel warmer/cooler depending on the season.
Suggest to foam glue (and make measured notes) 1 or 2 wood blocks for the purpose of holding up
up the capon center area. Over time they do tend to sag a bit.
When reinstalling cap use SS screws.
