The manufacturer claims this unit can be mounted vertically, but I will probably add a drip pan anyway. The depth is only 5 inches and fits between the supports on the cheek wall. The evaporator will only stick our as far as the side panel. I'll post some more details soon, this was a dry mock up.
This is the evaporator I bought...http://www.rainbowproductsonline.com/new/option2/ac-products/ac-kits2-2964.php. I plan on putting one on each side, piped in with individual solenoid valves.
