Actually, copper core (hotrod) wires will work best, especially in a marginal system such as the Onan. They will however wipe out AM radios for a distance. When I have to replace mine, I'm going to see if I can find a couple of aviation wires, which are copper core with a metal braid shield around the outside. I bet they'd make it easier starting without acing out everyone's radio and TV for five or six spaces around the coach.
