It looks like you figured it out. Just one "http://" and nothing after the ".jpg" is all it takes.

Unfortunately, what you have now will not produce a URL that the email list subscribers can see. They will not be able to access your picture, because the forum - to - mail list gateway will purge everything from the open bracket of the img to the close bracket after the /img.

Read the sticky that is the first thread of the forum for the way to imbed a picture AND give the mail list subscribers the URL of the picture.

Or do what you did PLUS paste the URL again with no tags. Then the forum users will see both the picture and the url and the mail list subscribers will see the url.
