According to Roger Marbles, heat is worse than sun. But I still think that covering isn't a bad idea.
JimK has some, most are near 200$, but at least look.
I have a broken (easily repaired Frank Jenkins) in Frank Sundrum's salvage coach in SE Mich. If you are interested, get back to me and Frank Sundrum and I will work it out.
It will have to be close to 100$ when repaired and then shipped (maybe by GMC relay).
If you don't like any of those ideas, just go get a WHITE vinyl tire cover at an RV place.
