the PO had put in a new BR I repaired the main wire plug ( hard wired) no joy I will quit for now we will git buy without gen I will remove it in the fall to repair in the winter ps how do you remove or close a post
Any BR can blow if it gets a current spike. Even new might be dead after a glitch. It is a diode network (full wave rectifier), so easy to check. Let me know if you want the test procedure. You don't remove or close posts. Just end a thread with the solution that you found. You can delete all the text in your own pot and leave nothing, but there will still be a blank post. The reason people don't do that is for solutions to remain for the next person to search and find.

Have you downloaded the Onan manuals from Bdub's site? There are parts lists, Operating manual, Maintenance and repair, etc.
